Geoff had an early vision of a fully integrated developer that designed, built and ultimately owned the projects. This led to the founding of Golden Construction in 1998. In 2010 Geoff made an investment in BLOX, who codified the Design, Manufacture, Construct methodology. In a strategic move to harness the power of the methodology Golden Construction merged with Appleseed Workshop to become Creature in 2017. A fully integrated Design, Manufacture, Construct (DMC) firm positioned to harvest the massive waste and slow production in the traditional AEC industry. The next chapter is the re-emergence of Golden Development to create a differentiated investment model for professional equity investors to access development opportunities in a manner that is significantly more efficient, less risky and a faster capital turn on invested dollars.
